What is Energy Healing- Reiki and Sound Healing?

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing method which uses a light touch on various touchpoints on the body to promote stress reduction, enhanced relaxation, clearing and balancing the energy centers and healing on all levels- mind, body and spirit. Sound Healing  uses Sacred Sound instruments (Himalayan bowls, Crystal bowls, tuning forks, drums and shakers) to promote clearing and balancing,  healing and  enhanced relaxation. 

Both energy healing sessions can activate the body’s natural healing abilities, boost the immune system, calm the nervous system, and assist with better sleep which can then allow the mind, body and soul to recover and heal from periods of intense or ongoing stress. Clients are asked to lay on a massage table fully clothed on their back and a blanket and eye pillow will be offered. A Reiki healing session will involve the use of crystals, essential oils, and light touch on various healing points on the body (depending on the client’s comfort level, no touch can be used at various healing points or even not at all). There is no hands on during a Sound Healing session as the vibrations of the instruments are the healing tools. Both energy healing sessions can assist clients with releasing specific emotions, moving through various life changes and making major life decisions, reducing stress and bringing the mind and body back into balance.
